This was our first really long road trip in my 2019 Tesla Model 3 Long Range and I was super impressed with how it handled the journey overall!

We were able to cover the 2300km trip in 27 hours (2 days of solid driving) with 7 supercharging stops, our longest being 55 minutes in St. Augustine, Florida.

In theory we could have gone to fewer charging stations & drained the battery all the way down, however I learned from several YouTube channels that it's actually better to stop more often to maximize the car charging efficiency.

COVID19 put a damper on any of my plans for a follow up road trip in 2020 but I'm hoping to embark on some more in 2021 to see how the car handles in other conditions/locations!
